Main project features: Design and Develop a system for multiple sources of data to be pooled & displayed to optimise rail operations.

  • Worked with a contractor to design and develop a tool to provide a focal point of coordination where multiple sources of data are pooled & displayed.
  • Provide real time information on rollingstock movements to make informed decisions that optimise yard operations.
  • Provide a tool that shows and predicts the progression of trains through the arrival, unloading and departure process along with associated activities i.e. maintenance shunts, provisioning activities, rollingstock location & availability.
